Week 10 of the Southern California high school football season is upon us and HSPN West is rolling into Mission Viejo this Friday night to bring you sideline coverage of two Southland giants. The undefeated and 15th ranked [MaxPreps] and 2016 defending CIF Division 2 Champions San Clemente Tritons (9-0; 3-0) face South Coast League foe in the Mission Viejo Diablos (9-0; 3-0), who are also undefeated and ranked 4th in the state [MaxPreps].

These two teams could not be any more evenly matched, and balanced in their approach to the game. They both run the ball effectively with San Clemente averaging 198.6 yards a game. Mission Viejo is averaging 174.4 rushing yards per game. Both teams are almost identical in average passing yards per game as well with 202.6 for Mission Viejo’s offense and 202.7 for San Clemente’s.

Kickoff between these two schools is set for Friday, November 3 at 7:00pm PST at Mission Viejo High School in Mission Viejo, California.
