Seth Baker and Kashan GriffinIt didn’t take long for the HSPN Impact Players Kashan Griffin (#11 STEALTH TOP 60) and Seth Baker (4.2gpa) to make their mark on the game last night as the Sun Devils bring down Victor Valley Jackrabbits for the 7th year in a row and once again bring home ‘The Bell’. Griffin scored 3 TD’s and Baker scored 1. They were both awarded the ‘HSPN Impact Player(s) of the Game’ by HSPN West David Hill.2017-09-16_1228

The Sun Devils went up by 28 points in the first half and never looked back.

2017-09-16_1229The two schools are embroiled in a fierce rivalry that has a long standing history that both communities are passionately involved in and have at times divided households.  The last 50 years, the winner of the rivalry game took home a valued trophy in the form of a authentic, 100 pound steel bell that sat atop a local Victorville church that burned down.

Apple Valley and Victor Valley High School football stadiums are only 10 miles apart from each other.  Both schools are nestled in an area of Southern California that most folks blow past on their way to Las Vegas.  Both schools’ mascots are appropriately name with Apple Valley being the ‘Sun Devils’, and Victor Valley being the ‘Jackrabbits.’
