After a wake up call by Boynton Beach in their opener the Lions took a hard look at themselves and realized what they needed to do quick in order to get their season on track. The theme for the week at practice and in the meeting rooms… get FOCUSED. And Friday night they were intense and they were focused.

Led by ‘HSPN Impact Player of the Game’ Chris Dascher and impact player Troy Jaffy the defense came out early with that intensity and shut the Sharks down, while pummeling their QB and holding them to minimal yardage and no points for the night.

On the offensive side of the ball impact player and QB James Micioni put up their first points to get the offense going, with a deep ball 30 yards down the sideline to Sr. Shane Ellis for the score. The Lions offense scored 2 more TD’s, missed 1 extra point and put up 20 total points for the night.
