In the short history of the Coral Springs Charter Football program the Panthers have reached the pinnacle of success going undefeated and winning their 1st Championship and setting the mark high for future players by making school history. What’s ironic is that 2 players that played on those original Charter football teams came back and are now the coaches that lead the Panthers to their 1st Championship, Head Coach Adam Miller and Assistant Coach Marcus Tribble.

The culmination of an undefeated season and a championship can be attributed to a coaching staff dedicated to their players and a team that by and large stayed together from beginning to end. A program that was full of top senior talent that in this day and age of ‘transferring to bigger programs’ stayed at home because they bought into the vision of a program. A program surrounded by older and bigger schools in their community, that became the first in the history of a city (Coral Springs, FL) to go unbeaten and to bring home a Championship. A small program that has put out big time student athletes that have continued playing at the next level including former Panther Darius Butler who currently plays in the pros  (Indianapolis Colts).

This is a program thats emphasis is on education first, with many of their student athletes having GPA’s well over 4.0. This is a program thats emphasis is on having great character on and off the field. A program with expectations of excellence on the field as well as in the classroom. A program with a ‘Championship’ mentality. A team of players that expected to win…

Yes there were several impact players that were game changers, but in this program the focus was never on the ‘player’ rather the ‘team’. They knew that players win awards, but it takes a team to win a Championship.

Congratulations to the Coral Springs Charter Panthers Football Team & Coaching Staff for winning the 2015 Championship ending with a Perfect Season…  A season that they will create a lifetime bond that can never be broken between players and coaches and a season that they will never forget… A season that transformed young boys into young men that will forever know what it feels like and what work it takes to be a champion. Young men of character that will aspire to teach others those same traits as they become leaders of their future communities. Young men that will forever know that is more than just a game…
