Listen to the conversation this morning with Jhakari Harrison, QB Coconut Creek Cougars, as he talks about his record setting night last night going 14/26 for 306yds and 7TD’s and why the Cougars went into practice this last week with a chip on their shoulders.

Harrison talks candidly about the difference in the team’s mentality going into this weeks game against the Cobras as well as his ‘Creek Boyz’ O Lineman making sure he got the protection he needed to get his passes off.

When asked what was one of the things they talked about as a team Harrison said, “The seniors got together and reminded each other that this is it, this is our senior year, we’ll never get to play these games again.” Harrison also had a lot of help, the line protected him all night so he could make better reads and he said his receivers, Benjimin Victor, Trayvon Mullen and Malek Young came into the game focused on making big plays. Jhakari said,”Victor made 3 catches and all of them went for touchdowns.”

Creek vs BA ScoreboardIf last night is any indication of what is in store for the rest of the season the ‘Creek Boyz’ could well make that trip to Orlando this year for the championship ring…

The Cougars go down to meet another high powered South Florida team this week when they play the Patriots of American Heritage at home in Plantation, FL.
